We were docked by 8:00 am as scheduled. After breakfast, we decided to go ashore around 11:00 to visit the Walgreens right across the street from the pier and go for lunch.

We stocked up on a few things at Walgreens and then walked a short way up the hill to a restaurant called La Madre. It is Mexican and had good reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. The waitress took our picture.

The food was good and reasonably priced. Then it was a short walk back to the ship without even stepping into a souvenir store. Once onboard, we watched the movie "Elvis" in the cabin. It was quite interesting and Tom Hanks did a good job as Col. Parker. But the kid who played Elvis did a fantastic job.
I tried a "special" at the coffee bar - a pumpkin spice Latte. I didn't care for it so next time I'll try their other special - a gingerbread cappuccino. We sailed at 5:00 p.m. and not long after that, I turned on the navigational map. It said the ship's time was 11:13 a.m. and our speed was 0 knots. As I looked out our balcony door and saw the ocean passing by, I hoped that the navigational instruments on the Bridge were more accurate!
There was a cocktail party for those of us who are doing our first Oceania cruise. Since they were offering free cocktails, it was well attended. We invited Juanita to join our table as she was sitting alone. She's a very nice lady from Georgia, but we didn't have much time to get to know her better between the welcome remarks from the General Manager and the Future Cruise Consultant. And then we had to get up to the Red Ginger for our 6:30 dinner reservations. The waitress, MaryGrace, was so happy to see us again as was Jero, the waiter. It was another really good dinner.

| The centerpiece for each table is a red ginger, of course. |
As usual, it was back to the cabin after dinner.
